Mobile Camera Recording and Audio....

Ok guys, here you go, I'm not going into specifics into what I'm working on, but here's the main idea....

I'm working on a system where there will be a camera, recorder and audio inside your vehicle, which will record either at the flip of a switch, or with the ignition. The main idea is for protection, especially when your car get's stolen, they can take the engine, the rims, the interior, whatever, but the way that I am designing this, there's a very big chance that the average thief won't notice where this thing is, and when the vehicle is found, the recording media will still be there, or when Police Officers that LOVE to abuse their power by pulling people over, and searching their cars without probable cause, and getting you locked up, you can take the video to court to show this, and get the case dropped. I checked the legality and yes, you can have this on your vehicle without anyone's consent and the officer that pulls you over does not need to know.

Anyway, the feedback that I need is what are you people out there willing to pay for something like this, and please, don't come with $1000 dollars because you know you ain't going to pay that kind of money, or with $150 because the DVR by itself is double that price at MY COST. I'm trying to get a ballpark figure so that I can find the components that would work at that price range..

I Would Pay Top Dollar, i cant believe some 1 aint come up with this, closes to this is lojack but u cant hear or see im more on the audio side, video might be alil hard and more money but if the system is proven, like wen u make it do like a video showing how it works like have a friend act like hes taking it, im sure ull have alot of people buying it, u will hear the people striping ur car names, there plan, their go to car mabe people on the phone giving details, or mabe the location, ill say around 350-500 cuz ur 4sure gonna catch the thiefs no doubt uinless they stripping ur car useing sign language or there all deaf
